Reflections Garden Groundbreaking
(Pictured left to right: John Jacobson - CEO, Dick Bruggen - Legacy Campaign Co-Chair, William Thornton - Board Chairman, Dr. Ryan Thomas - Home Health Medical Director) This year the Atchison Hospital takes an important step in its development as a viable regional health care provider by creating the Courtney S. Turner Diagnostic Imaging Center. The Center will feature an up-to-date CT scanner capable of multiple and rapid computerized images. The Center will also introduce magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) on a full-time basis in Atchison. MRI provides our physicians with the ability to rapidly diagnose injury and disease that conventional x-rays cannot show. Atchison Hospital invites individuals and businesses in Atchison to support these vital health care services in response to this capital campagin. Atchison Hospital is dedicated to making sure it it ready for the needs of tomorrow as well as today and will be strengthened by the generosity and support of our community. Donations for these purposes will benefit every person that lives in or visits our community. It is truly a strategic investment in the future health of Atchison.
