Atchison Hospital, Acthison, Kansas July 30, 2009 Atchison Hospital Auxiliary announced the recipients of their 2009 - 2010 Scholarships. This year there were 11 recipients, with a total of $29,000 given. The recipients included five Atchison Hospital employees who are furthering their education to enhance their careers: Bob Harmon, John Shipley, Melissa Kocour, Casey Wagner, and Joshua Wheeler. Six Atchison Area Residents also received scholarships: Cassie Jaegle, Renata Santos, Tammy Corning, Rachel Mayfield, Jill Kovar, and Katie Lassen. The Atchison Hospital Auxiliary gives scholarships to Atchison Area residents interested in Nursing or Allied Health Fields based on the needs of Atchison Hospital.
